Who Delivers Depop Packages?

Depop is a peer-to-peer marketplace for secondhand and vintage fashion, so there's no central warehouse — every order ships directly from the individual seller. Depop doesn't run its own delivery fleet either. Instead, when an item sells the platform issues a prepaid shipping label, the seller drops the parcel off, and a national carrier handles the rest. Which carrier appears on your tracking depends almost entirely on where the seller is: a US order and a UK order for the same kind of item travel on completely different networks.

In the United States, Depop labels are printed with USPS, and sellers can also choose UPS on the platform; the parcel moves through the postal or UPS network to your address with tracking scans along the way. In the United Kingdom, Depop's prepaid label is an Evri label — the seller gets a QR code, drops the parcel at an Evri ParcelShop or locker, and tracking begins once it's scanned in. For orders crossing borders, Depop generally doesn't supply a prepaid international label, so the seller arranges postage themselves, most often a tracked postal service such as Royal Mail International Tracked.

This page lists the carriers that deliver Depop orders in 2025–2026, what each one does, and how to recognize its tracking number. If you'd rather not work out which carrier's site to check, 24hTrack auto-detects the carrier from the number and follows the parcel in a single timeline.

Depop Delivery Carriers

USPS

The default carrier for Depop labels in the United States. When a US item sells, Depop generates a prepaid USPS label — commonly Ground Advantage for lighter parcels or Priority Mail for heavier ones — and the seller drops it off or has it collected. The parcel then moves through the postal network to your address, with delivery scans available on USPS tracking. Tracking numbers: A 22-digit number that usually begins with 9 (USPS IMpb tracking)

UPS

An alternative label option Depop offers US sellers alongside USPS, more often used for bulkier or higher-value items. When a seller picks UPS, the package travels on the UPS network and every scan from pickup to delivery shows on UPS tracking. Tracking numbers: 18 characters — 1Z followed by 16 letters and digits

Evri

The prepaid carrier for Depop orders inside the United Kingdom. Depop emails the seller an Evri label and QR code; the seller drops the parcel at an Evri ParcelShop or locker, and tracking starts once it's scanned into the network. Evri (formerly Hermes) completes the final delivery to the buyer's UK address. Tracking numbers: A 16-digit tracking number

Royal Mail

Commonly used when a Depop order crosses borders. Depop doesn't provide a prepaid international label, so UK sellers frequently arrange a tracked Royal Mail service — such as International Tracked — themselves. Royal Mail handles the export leg and hands the parcel to the destination country's postal service for final delivery. Tracking numbers: A 13-character code — two letters, nine digits, then a country code such as GB (for example, AB123456789GB)

Depop Tracking FAQ

Who delivers Depop orders?

Depop doesn't deliver packages itself — each order ships from the individual seller using a carrier tied to their country. In the United States that's USPS by default, with UPS available as an option; in the United Kingdom it's Evri. For orders shipped internationally, the seller usually arranges a tracked postal service such as Royal Mail International Tracked. Whichever carrier is on the label is the one that brings the parcel to your door.

What does a Depop tracking number look like?

There's no separate 'Depop' number — the tracking number belongs to whichever carrier is on the label. A USPS shipment is a 22-digit number that usually starts with 9; a UPS shipment is 18 characters beginning with 1Z; an Evri shipment is a 16-digit number; and a Royal Mail international item is typically two letters, nine digits, and a country code like GB. Paste whichever one you have and 24hTrack will detect the carrier for you.

Why is my Depop item shipping with a carrier I didn't expect?

Because Depop orders ship from individual sellers, the carrier depends on where the seller is and which label they chose. A US seller's parcel comes via USPS or UPS, while a UK seller's parcel comes via Evri — so two Depop purchases can arrive on entirely different carriers. If you bought from a seller in another country, the item travels on that country's postal service first and may be handed to your local carrier for the final mile.

How long does a Depop order take to arrive?

Delivery time depends on the seller and the carrier. Depop asks sellers to ship promptly after a sale, and most domestic orders — USPS or UPS in the US, Evri in the UK — arrive within a few business days once the parcel is scanned in. International orders take longer, often one to two weeks or more depending on the destination and customs. Tracking may show 'label created' for a day or so before the first movement scan appears.

Why is my Depop tracking not updating?

Tracking often stays quiet in the gap between the seller printing the label and the carrier's first scan — a parcel can show 'label created' with no movement for a day or two, especially over weekends. International shipments can also go quiet while they clear customs or transfer between the origin and destination postal services. If the delivery leg stays silent well past its estimated window, the carrier on the label — USPS, UPS, Evri or Royal Mail — can confirm where the parcel is.

My Depop package says delivered but I don't have it. What should I do?

Check around entrances, mailboxes, parcel lockers, and with neighbors or household members first, since parcels are sometimes scanned delivered shortly before or after the actual drop-off. If it still hasn't turned up, contact the delivering carrier to confirm where it was left, and message the seller — Depop's Buyer Protection covers eligible orders that don't arrive, and you can open a case through Depop if the item is genuinely lost.
