No — a JDX number is not a JD.com or JD Logistics shipment, despite the similar-looking letters. They are separate operations, and searching for the better-known name will send you to the wrong tracking page. If your seller told you the parcel is with JD Logistics, ask them to confirm the carrier, because the prefix on the number is what determines where it can actually be tracked.
Consolidated cross-border parcels go quiet on the international leg by design, often for one to two weeks with no scan between departure and arrival. Before that, a newly created label can also sit unscanned for days until the parcel is physically collected. The situation worth escalating is a parcel that has arrived in your country and then produced nothing for a week or more.
A local carrier or the national post in the destination country handles the final leg, so the closing events on your tracking often name a carrier you recognise rather than JDX. If the JDX number stops updating right after an arrival scan, ask the seller whether a separate local tracking number was issued — a multi-carrier tracker accepts both.
