GFS Tracking

Track and get real-time status updates for GFS shipments.

24hTrack is a free lookup site, not GFS. We don't sell or deliver parcels — we show you the scans the carrier has published.

What is GFS?

GFS is the short form of GFS Express Ltd, an international logistics company whose own site calls it "your logistics partner in the Middle East". It presents five lines of work — international shipping, land, sea and air transport, customs clearance, warehousing, and fulfilment with last-mile delivery — and its country selector lists local operations in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Georgia and South Africa. Behind the deliveries it runs origin warehouses in China and what it calls cloud warehouses in the Gulf, the United States and Europe, and moves full and part truckloads from the United Arab Emirates into the GCC.

You will see the name written three ways — GFS, GFS Express and GFS Xpress. They are one operator: the gfsxpress.com address serves the same site, titled GFS Express, as the company's own tracking portal, and a number issued under any of the three names is the same number. If your order confirmation says one and your emails say another, you have not been handed to a second company.

GFS sells to brands and online sellers rather than to the public, so a GFS number arrives with an order you have already placed instead of being something you chose. One of the services it sells those merchants is cash-on-delivery collection, with weekly remittance of the money, which is why some GFS parcels are paid for at the door rather than at checkout. In Georgia the company it names as its local representative, Global Nova Logistics, states that its role there is limited to receiving and delivering Temu shipments and nothing else.

Ships for: Online sellers and brands shipping from China into the Gulf and the wider Middle East, Marketplace orders — including Temu parcels in Georgia — where the seller chose the carrier, Merchants who need cash collected from the buyer at the door

Tracking number format: Most often three letters followed by eleven digits, and the three-letter block we see most is CGD. A longer form of two letters plus thirteen digits also appears. Whichever name the seller used — GFS, GFS Express or GFS Xpress — the same number is the one to paste

Typical delivery time: GFS advertises delivery within two to seven business days once a parcel is moving. The wait a buyer actually feels is longer than that, because it starts at the order: the parcel can sit at the origin warehouse in China, then in export customs, then again in import customs, before the first scan appears in the destination country.

How to track GFS packages

Knowing where your parcel is makes it easier to plan the day you collect it. With 24hTrack you don't need an account on GFS's website. Paste the tracking number in the box above and we work out which carrier it belongs to and show you every scan GFS has published, on one page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is GFS and is it a real courier?

Yes. GFS is GFS Express Ltd, an international logistics company that describes itself as a Middle East logistics partner and lists local operations in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Georgia and South Africa. It carries goods out of China into those markets and delivers the last mile there. Most people meet the name for the first time on a tracking number, because GFS sells to sellers and brands rather than advertising to shoppers.

GFS, GFS Express, GFS Xpress — are these different companies?

No, they are one operator written three ways. The gfsxpress.com address serves a site titled GFS Express, and the same tracking number resolves whichever of the three names your seller used. You do not need to find a different site for each spelling; paste the number here once.

Why did my order ship with GFS when I have never heard of it?

Because the seller picked the carrier, not you. GFS is a business-to-business network: an online shop or marketplace in China books it to move the parcel to the Gulf, Georgia or South Africa and to deliver it there. In Georgia specifically, the local company GFS names as its representative says it handles Temu shipments, which is how a lot of buyers there first see the name.

Will I have to pay the GFS driver?

Sometimes. Cash on delivery is one of the services GFS sells to merchants, so whether you pay at the door depends on how the seller set the order up, not on GFS. Check the order confirmation for a cash-on-delivery amount before the parcel reaches you, and if it says nothing, ask the seller rather than the courier — the seller is the one who chose the payment method.

My GFS tracking has not updated for several days. Is the parcel lost?

Usually not. A GFS journey has two long quiet stretches built into it: the flight out of China, and customs at the destination. Neither of those produces a scan, so the page can sit on the same line for days while the parcel is moving normally. GFS also says it pushes its main milestones to buyers by WhatsApp, SMS and email, so check those before assuming the shipment has stopped. The lines worth acting on are an explicit failed delivery or a return, not silence.

What do the GFS scan descriptions mean?

They are plain English and they follow the journey in order: "Parcel received and inbound" and "Parcel sent" at the origin warehouse, "Departed from distribution center" when it leaves, "Under Customs Clearance" and then "Customs Clearance Completed" at the border, "Parcel picked up from destination airport" or "Parcel picked up from customs" once it is in your country, and finally "Out for delivery" and "Delivered". Some lines put the city first, as in "Riyadh, Parcel picked up from customs". A "Last-mile delivery forecast" line is GFS estimating the final leg, not a scan of the parcel moving.

Does GFS tracking show the whole journey?

A GFS number carries an unusually detailed history. On the journeys we see on 24hTrack, a GFS parcel averages a little over twenty scans, where an ordinary domestic parcel runs four or five — most of those extra lines are the warehouse, flight and customs steps of a cross-border trip. Paste the number on the 24hTrack homepage to read the status and the scans we have for it; it is free and no account is needed.
